Dental Centre Kalmar Implant Dentistry was officially opened in Costabella in Rijeka. The new centre cover 1,300 square metres and includes ten individual dental offices, reports Poslovni.hr on September 5, 2016.

Kalmar Implant Dentistry is a family company with a long tradition, which employs the third generation of physicians of dental medicine who are members of the Kalmar family. The first dental practice was opened in 1950 by Šandor Kalmar. Kalmar Implant Dentistry today operates at three locations in Rijeka and Crikvenica employing 40 people and is one of the leaders in medical tourism in Croatia. For years, Kalmar Implant Dentistry has been treating patients from Italy and Switzerland, and increasing interest has recently been shown by patients from Slovenia, Germany, Great Britain and Scandinavia.

In addition to latest equipment used to provide services from the areas of surgery, prosthetics, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, and digital and laboratory diagnostics, Dental Centre Kalmar also introduced the latest 3D technology for denture moulding. In addition to medical services, it offers to its customers accommodation services in apartments and the possibility of extended stay in a villa in Klanfari near Crikvenica. The new centre offers to patients a restaurant and a pool.

“The opening of the new dental centre means that we have entered a new period of development of our family business, in which the tradition of dental medicine dates back to 1950. The new Kalmar Dental Centre will offer to its patients from Croatia and Europe the best possible service and excellent results of treatments”, said Daniel Kalmar, director of the company, at the official inauguration ceremony.

The company announced that the opening of the new facility will increase the number of employees to about seventy.
